Following a Scoping Study, Faber Maunsell piloted the 'Ska' Rating on a number of Skansen's fit-out projects. The aims of piloting were:
- To test the practicality of conducting the assessment process and gathering information as part of real fit-out projects;
- To test good practice criteria and start to develop supporting guidance;
- To test the proposed scoring and rating system; and
- To establish the boundary between 'typical' and 'improved' performance, which in turn influenced the rating thresholds adopted.
